Tropical Birds shows an oil on panel of Jan Van Kesel (1626-1679), a specialist of animal paintings. On a blue background in the middle of which is the bare trunk of a tree, numerous tropical birds: parrots, swans, ostrich, ducks, peacocks, even penguins arrange a meeting. Red and bleu dominates over this custom wall decoration.
