Mauritius is characterized by a cosmopolitan heritage. With the bespoke wall mural Heritage, the island is thus offered in the form of 5 scenes which represent its multiple facets.

The deer, witness of the Dutch presence, the Chinese pagoda and the monkeys that evoke the presence of different beliefs on the island, the colonial house and its typical architecture, a vestige of another time, and finally the tropical plants and lagoons that earned Mauritius the nickname of earthly paradise for many decades.

The background of the wallpaper is an old map of Mauritius that links all these specificities. A cane base, an integral part of the wallpaper, completes the atmosphere of yesteryear of this panoramic wallpaper, whose spirit recalls the Toile de Jouy, here presented from a Mauritian angle.
